At Impact Marketing, our approach is getting hands-on with our clients and exploring industry specific contexts in order to achieve relevant and successful marketing campaigns.
Last weekend, Callum and the rest of the Impact Marketing team attended the Deadly Dozen Event in Liverpool in order to help build brand awareness for Applied Nutrition.
The Deadly Dozen event is a 12 station fitness and endurance race to test physical and mental capabilities. Alongside Applied Nutrition, we were promoting their products and showing participants how the products can be effective for real experiences. Rather than remaining static we continuously moved around speaking to a variety of both competitors and spectators.
Spending the day immersed in a competitive environment gave us an understanding of what athletes care about. This first-hand insight gives us the opportunity to shape how we think about our messaging for future campaigns.
The team were given the opportunity to connect with industry professionals at Applied Nutrition to understand their operations and discover what makes this world renowned brand so successful.
Despite Callum having extensive personal experience in the sport and fitness industry as well as the business world, the customer forward approach used at Applied Nutrition reinforced how important understanding the audience and industry is when it comes to marketing.
The day reminded the team how valuable practical work beyond the office can be when growing and developing skills.
