Our mission was to promote the year-long Oscar Wilde Season at the Vaudeville Theatre, through print distribution and videos for social media.
Bespoke marketing consultancy and long-term Impact client JHI approached us about print distribution and social media videos for the approaching season, with six of Oscar Wilde’s plays due to run at the Vaudeville Theatre on London’s Strand.
We started with the videos, the idea being to film first for A Woman of No Importance in September, then if it went well to continue with additional films throughout the season.
This was the first time we had produced for JHI, and the success of A Woman of No Importance has led to more videos being produced for the likes of Lady Windermere’s Fan and The Importance of Being Earnest.
In Spring we conducted network runs for The Selfish Giant, distributing leaflets to both families and traditional theatre audiences, followed by a combined video and print campaign for An Ideal Husband. With print display we targeted families, tourists and theatre audiences across three services: Networks, Posters and Hotel Ambassadors. This campaign distributed 18,500 flyers and 200 posters to eager audiences across London.
It has been a very successful season so far, building on our already strong relationship with a valued client.
